The first steps to a successful strategy are to have hard-working and motivated workers and leaders who are validated and work together to deliver on the client’s promise.
In all types of companies, especially those that are composed of teams, these are the most important. That is why the work climate is a matter of special relevance within an organization, everything to build teams that are committed, responsible and loyal, but is this really enough for a company to have a future?
This is what RMTlogistics wants to respond to this article, and is that, why is it so important for a company to form teams? There are basically two reasons: the first is human. If a person does not feel they have support or do not validate their skills, it collapses, because people need positive reinforcements to do their job well. The second, if any of the people within the team is not committed or does not feel akin to values, to the mission and vision of the company, is finally reflected to the end customers.
But what about logistics? Logistics teams are particularly important because operations are extreme. So, if the workers do not compromise it’s very difficult to reach the destination.
The profiles of people workers in a logistics company go from the manager or director of Logistics; there are also middle managers as heads of areas or managers of sections, managers of cranes, guards, etc. But in such a team, it’s not enough for the boss to give orders, but people who want to overcome themselves are needed, regardless of the difficulties that may exist within the company. They are people who move them to have professional wealth in an ethical and responsible way.
Each team must be led, supported by good leaders. One way to be a good leader in a logistics company is to understand what the needs of logistics teams are. A good leader must be concerned that his team is focused on his work, generating a degree of commitment in the different areas of logistics, in addition to generating human closeness.
The formula for good communication in logistics is leadership, feedback and trust building among all members of the company.
Another commitment is the promise with the customer, is an issue that has recorded the logistics teams. For example a truck driver is a clear example of a person with a logistical commitment, because he is committed to the customers.
