What it is inverse logistics?
Nowadays we understand logistics
las an essential part of the management of the supply chain that plans, implements and controls the direct and inverse flux, and the effective and efficient storage of services and properties. This contains all the information related from the origin point of view to the consumption point of view, for achieving the client requirements.
is a logistics modality which involves plenty of activities. Some of them just have ecological connotations to avoid the environment damage. However others just want improvements and more benefits of the productive processes and the market supply. In RMTlogistics
we have implemented this last function in our logistics strategy.
There are some reasons why these activities have increased and why inverse logistics study has also increased last years, like the recently returned products increase, the selling opportunities in the secondary markets, the huge returning proliferation, and product’s end of life.

In this case, our company
is mainly in charge of the inventory’s excess returning processes, client’s returns, obsolete products and seasonal inventory. We also advance to the product’s end of life for giving it a release in higher rotation markets. We include reparation (lower quality than the new products), renovation (providing a specific quality), and recycling (recuperation for using it as a new one). Offering this service we receive annually around 2 million of clothes to be redistributed again.
Definitely, these inverse logistics activities are a group of processes that are used for collecting used, damaged, unwanted or out of phase products, as their packaging and transport from the users to the seller.
